Qualifications:
- Hold current SLP-CCC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to collaborative team dynamics and student-centered support
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a K-12 caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring, keeping thorough records
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocating for each student’s needs
- Offer guidance and training to support staff as appropriate
