Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or eligibility to obtain SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- California licensure or eligibility required
- Ability to manage a dynamic elementary caseload
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative spirit and dedication to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for elementary students
- Complete timely evaluations, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
