An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in a contract position located in Santa Clarita, CA. This role involves working full-time hours primarily on-site, providing speech therapy services across one to two school sites. Candidates with experience in school settings, Pediatrics, Teletherapy, or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly high school students
  • Familiarity with speech-language pathology in educational environments
  • Experience in Teletherapy is an asset
  • Complete understanding of caseload management in a school setting
  • Background in pediatric speech therapy or healthcare environments is beneficial
  • Certification or experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within schools or healthcare can be considered

Location:

  • Santa Clarita, California, serving one to two high school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students following established protocols and individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Manage a high school caseload with responsibilities spanning assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with school teams including teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication needs
  • Begin work at 8:15 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal educational and healthcare regulations

Employment Details:

  • Full-time contract position through the current school year
  • On-site service delivery only.
  • Discussions about summer hours and contract renewal for the 2026-2027 school year will occur as the school year concludes
