Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential, or California credential to provide Language, Speech, & Hearing services in schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and service planning
- Maintain up-to-date records according to school and district standards
- Utilize evidence-based practices to tailor interventions for maximum student growth
