School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Santa Clara, California
Take your career to the next level by supporting students in a dynamic, on-site school environment as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. Seeking a dedicated professional available to start as soon as possible and remain through the end of the school year, you'll play a crucial role in the academic and social growth of students from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Enjoy a manageable caseload of approximately 20-30 students while working closely with a school team that values collaboration and diversity.
We're looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) SLP who is passionate about serving an inclusive student population and is available 3-4 days per week. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with students, educators, and families to make a meaningful, positive difference.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Comfortable with Tk-8 caseloads and IEP documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team consultations
- Provide culturally responsive services tailored to bilingual students
