Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Ana, CA

In this role, you will manage an itinerant caseload across several elementary schools, conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and tracking individualized goals, participating actively in IEP meetings, and delivering direct speech-language therapy. Flexibility and the ability to travel between sites are essential, as you will adapt your skills to a variety of settings and collaborate with dedicated educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active California Speech-Language Pathology License (required)
- Previous experience working in school-based or educational environments (preferred)
- SEIS platform familiarity (preferred)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly desired
- Comfort serving pediatric caseloads and providing onsite, hands-on therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to travel between assigned school locations as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough student speech-language assessments and document findings
- Develop evidence-based, individualized therapy goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Participate collaboratively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school guidelines
- Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
