School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sanford, North Carolina
Make a difference for students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a supportive, collaborative school environment. Contract opportunities are available for skilled SLPs—both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)—as well as certified SLP Assistants (SLPAs), for the 2026–2027 school year. Positions are fully onsite, with a weekly full-time schedule totaling 37.5 hours. Special consideration is given to applicants with previous school-based experience and a current active North Carolina SLP license.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Current, active NC SLP license (required)
- SLP-CCC, CF eligibility, or SLPA certification
- Demonstrated school-based experience (highly recommended)
- Commitment to fully onsite work; no remote or VOCO options available
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech, language, and communication interventions for students, both individually and in groups
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Documenting student progress and adjusting therapy plans to support growth
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
