Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license
- New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) credential in hand at time of application (no pending or “willing to apply” candidates accepted)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience providing speech-language therapy in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language services in both individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student academic and developmental goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights for student success
- Provide progress updates and recommendations to families and teams as needed
