Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active California SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) mandated
- Previous experience working in K-8 or school-based settings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite; remote or hybrid options are not available
- Please note: SLPA credentials are not eligible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct assessment and evidence-based intervention to a diverse caseload spanning elementary and middle school students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide therapy addressing speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication needs
- Consult and communicate regularly with families, classroom teachers, and support staff
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in school meetings and contribute expertise to student success plans
