Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in San Rafael, CA
Make an impact supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an onsite role spanning two school locations. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment, providing vital services to students near San Rafael, CA. Start as soon as possible and continue through June 10, 2027, contributing your expertise to students' success over several academic years.
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active California SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) mandatory
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload of elementary and middle school students
- Commitment to working onsite (this is not a remote or SLPA position)
- Passion for fostering student growth and communication skills
What you’ll do:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students' needs and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to develop and implement supportive interventions
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Educate and empower staff and parents with strategies to support students’ language development
- Travel between two school sites as needed
