Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26-27 school year. This opportunity is designed for a dedicated professional passionate about helping children achieve their communication goals in an educational setting. The position starts as soon as possible and runs through June at the end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (CA SLP) credential required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Demonstrated commitment to student growth and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation for student records as required by state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy goals in the classroom
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
- Monitor and report on student progress throughout the duration of the contract
