Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology for SLPs; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree for SLPAs
- Current West Virginia licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven interventions
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organization skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and therapy to students with speech and language needs according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals ensuring consistent support for student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and session notes
- Provide support across a range of communication disorders—including articulation, fluency, voice, and language
- Offer guidance and in-class strategies to colleagues and caregivers as needed
