Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Appropriate state licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in schools, especially early intervention through middle school preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on early intervention through middle school populations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
- Administer assessments and perform evaluations to monitor and document progress
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and therapy documentation in compliance with school and district policies
