Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to students with a variety of communication needs.
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust services based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal requirements.
- Support students with needs related to articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other communication disorders.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure.
- Appropriate California school credential or authorization, as required for school-based practice.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and clinical skills.
