Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

This position is stationed at a single school, offering continuity and the chance to build lasting relationships with students, families, and colleagues. You'll work with learners from PreK through 12th grade, tailoring your expertise to support language, speech, and communication development at every age and stage.
Skills & Experience Sought:
- Current or eligible SLP licensure; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations, school-based SLP, or SLPA roles
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable
- Prior work in school or healthcare settings with children/adolescents (PreK-12th grade) preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered practice approach
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for speech, language, and communication needs
- Design and implement individualized intervention programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, support staff, and other specialists to devise effective, evidence-based solutions
- Document progress and comply with IEP and reporting requirements
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
- Provide consultative and direct services within a multicultural, inclusive environment
