Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Sunnyvale, CA
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services at an elementary school site. This role involves covering a current vacancy to support the speech and language needs of students within the school community.
Key responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), and providing direct therapy to students with diverse communication challenges. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication support for children.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification and licensure as an SLP with expertise in school settings
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) strongly preferred or recently completed
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance with educational standards and reporting
- Strong communication and organizational skills for managing documentation and scheduling
Location: Sunnyvale, CA, at an elementary school site Schedule: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM with potential additional hours for after-school IEP meetings Duration: Contract starting at the end of January through the current school year (CSY)
