Speech Language Pathologist in San Francisco, CA
Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting preschool students and students from private and nonpublic schools near San Francisco, CA. This part-time contract opportunity (0.5 FTE) welcomes both SLP-CCCs and SLP-CFYs who are passionate about helping children find their voice and reach their full communication potential.
In this role, you'll focus on delivering high-quality services and assessment for a diverse group of preschool-aged students. You'll also work with learners attending private and nonpublic schools, conducting evaluations and creating effective intervention plans tailored to individual needs.
Your background should include:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility as an SLP-CFY
- California state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and IEP development abilities
- Familiarity with supporting preschool-aged children and students in private/nonpublic settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations for preschoolers and nonpublic/private school students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to ongoing progress monitoring
- Helping with transition planning for preschool students entering kindergarten
