Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Current ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Strong foundation in school-based speech-language pathology practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of student speech, language, and communication abilities
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with varying needs, both individually and in group settings
- Develop and document IEP goals, monitor progress, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Provide guidance and resources to staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations for diverse learners
