Speech Language Pathologist in San Francisco, CA
A San Francisco-based elementary school is seeking two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, on-site contract position through the current school year, ending June 3, 2026. This role is dedicated primarily to Pre-K intake assessments and requires licensed professionals to provide specialized speech services in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pre-K intake speech and language assessments.
- Provide speech-language pathology services in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Serve as FMLA coverage for an SLP at Ortega Elementary for the remainder of the school year.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ communication needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) in California.
- Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience exclusively as a fully licensed SLP; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will not be considered.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site — virtual or hybrid work is not available for this position.
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are highly preferred.
