Travel Speech Language Pathologist in San Antonio, TX
Join a dynamic role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing critical support in a vibrant educational setting in San Antonio, TX. This travel opportunity involves working onsite at two busy locations within the San Antonio Independent School District, serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapeutic services to a caseload of 20-25 students at one site and approximately 37 students at another.
- Work with students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade, supporting diverse speech and language needs.
- Attend and prepare for ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings to discuss student progress and needs.
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) and offer support with additional testing as required.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless care and service delivery, including taking students from other SLPs when needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
- Active Texas SLP licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- Ability to provide bilingual or monolingual services.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage a varied student caseload.
