Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid state licensure for California (or eligibility for quick reciprocity)
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload across grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and student records compliant with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight for accommodations or modifications
- Adapt therapy approaches for both individual and group settings
