School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Richmond, California

There are two assignments available:
– Position 1: August through end of September
– Position 2: August through end of December
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Commitment to maintaining thorough and accurate documentation
- Previous experience with IEP teams is valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess and document communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized goals and targeted interventions
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
