What We’re Seeking:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based experience, especially with elementary-aged students or specialized populations
- Skilled in managing IEP development, conducting evaluations, and providing engaging, evidence-based therapy
- Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Expertise with AAC and adaptive interventions considered a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting approaches to meet IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and maintain IEP plans, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
