A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Salinas, CA. This contract role offers approximately 20 hours per week and is designed for the current school year (CSY).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working within a school setting
- Strong skills in assessment and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to an elementary caseload
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Provide direct therapy, focusing on speech and language development for children
