Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Salem, Illinois
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and academic growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting! This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or a passion for travel assignments. Two positions are available: one focusing on 4th through 8th grades, and another serving Early Childhood, Kindergarten, and 1st-grade students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric and school populations beneficial
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads (either grades 4–8 or EC–1st grades)
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintain all required documentation in a timely, organized manner
- Contribute to student success by implementing evidence-based interventions
- Attend school and IEP meetings as needed
