Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Salem, Illinois

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to support students in grades ranging from early childhood through middle school in a school contract setting in Salem, IL. This role is ideal for experienced SLPs, recent Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) professionals, or those interested in travel assignments within the educational field.
Two positions are open:
- Position 1: Serving students in grades 4th through 8th
- Position 2: Supporting early childhood through 1st grade, including EC and Kindergarten
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and deliver individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Implement strategies tailored to the diverse needs of school-aged children
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification (CCC-SLP preferred) or eligibility including CFY candidates
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage with children across a broad age range effectively
- Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
