Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Chicago, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school and residential program in Chicago, IL, specializing in supporting children with adverse and aggressive behaviors. This onsite role requires a candidate who is comfortable working in environments where self-harm, property destruction, elopement, and aggression may occur. A Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC, Pediatrics experience, or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with a school-based focus is encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP, with preference for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or willingness to work with pediatric populations in school or residential settings
- Comfort managing challenging behaviors including self-harm and aggression
- Willingness to work onsite full-time, with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologists in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF)

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy services aligned with school and residential program needs
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral and communication challenges
- Managing a caseload of students exhibiting complex behavioral issues
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress tracking
