Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) necessary
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with PreK and kindergarten
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for supporting early learners’ development
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 PreK and kindergarten students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the school team and families
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team decisions
