Speech Language Pathologist in Saint Paul, MN
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an academic setting from February 2026 through late April 2026. This assignment serves both general and special education students in an elementary school environment, working with grades early childhood through fourth grade.
Location: Spring Lake Park, MN
School Setting: Public elementary school focusing on diverse student needs
Duration: February 2026 – Late April 2026 (Long-Term Substitute position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language services to students across general and special education settings
- Assess and plan treatment for communication disorders in young learners
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
Required Qualifications:
- M.A./M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills to design effective therapy sessions
- Highly effective interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
- Candidates pursuing Clinical Fellowship experience are encouraged to apply and will be supported in gaining authentic school-based practice
