Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Louisiana SLP license (CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to use evaluative data to inform planning
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and a variety of exceptionalities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to primary school students (ages 3 through 5th grade)
- Complete initial and ongoing student assessments, screenings, and evaluations
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation and therapy data to inform IEP development
- Write and implement IEPs, providing guidance based on student progress and needs
- Engage with teachers, staff, and caregivers to promote carry-over and student success
- Maintain compliance with all state and school policies and standards
