Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Louisiana SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
- Comfort with data collection, therapy planning, screenings, and writing evaluations/IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to primary school students (ages 3–11) with a variety of needs
- Conduct initial screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Collaborate on IEP development, using collected data to inform goals and accommodations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families, providing updates and support for student growth
- Participate in school-based meetings as a valued member of the educational team
