Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
- Other languages (Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese) are a plus
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field
- Eligibility for Massachusetts state licensure and Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in K–12 settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluation and therapy for a K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Adapt communication and intervention strategies to suit diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews
- Caseload and specific school assignment for monolingual candidates are assigned after credentialing
