Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia (GA SLP License)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for individual and group services
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school guidelines
- Provide education and support to staff and caregivers regarding speech and language development
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
