Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Minnesota state licensure for SLP practice in schools (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience providing therapy and assessments in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering student growth in all areas of communication
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students based on individual education plans
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement intervention strategies aligned with educational goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
