Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Illinois SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC or CFY candidates welcomed (supervision provided for CFYs)
- Previous experience in school settings and with elementary populations is a plus
- Comfortable working in both general and special education classrooms, including students with ASD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students within a single school site
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings and orientation prior to the school year
