Speech Language Pathologist in Lake Hughes, CA
An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make an impact in an elementary school setting near Lake Hughes, CA. Work directly with students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, supporting an average caseload of about 60 students with varying needs ranging from general education to moderate/severe. This role is perfect for a clinician comfortable handling the full spectrum of speech services, including direct therapy, assessments, and IEP participation.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC preferred)
- Experience providing speech services in schools
- Strong understanding of evaluating and supporting students with diverse needs
- Able to independently manage a dynamic caseload across general and special education populations
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- California CTC credential is preferred but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech-language therapy for TK-5th grade students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and document IEP goals and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide both direct and consultative services across the full spectrum of speech and language needs
- Maintain timely and accurate reports, records, and documentation
