Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Romeoville, IL
Serving an elementary school environment, this opportunity is available for two Speech Pathologists with expertise in supporting diverse student needs, including Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only caseloads. The position requires certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience.
Location: Romeoville, IL
Position Type: Contract, CSY (Current School Year)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Duration: ASAP through 5/22/2026 for full-time; part-time role available through 3/27/2025
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students across a 1.5 caseload split.
- Plan and implement therapy strategies tailored to individual student needs in Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only programs.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create effective communication interventions.
- Conduct assessments, track progress, and document outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and Credential of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and professionalism.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
