Speech Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL
This opportunity is for two Speech-Language Pathologists to support elementary school students in a dynamic educational setting located in Joliet, IL. The role involves working with a diverse caseload, including Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only students, ensuring tailored speech therapy services that foster communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and interventions for a caseload of 1.5 full-time equivalent loads.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches to meet unique needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal educational regulations.
- Participate actively in school meetings and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads including students with multi-needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time contract: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, 37.5 hours guaranteed weekly.
- Assignment duration from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
- Part-time positions available temporarily through March 27, 2025.

- Elementary school setting in Joliet, Illinois.
