Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible for, or currently hold, SLP-CCC or CFY credentials
- Prior experience as a school-based SLP or with K-12 populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative, integrated care
- Ability to quickly build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexible, organized, and adept at managing varied caseload needs
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech-language and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports using evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational teams
- Offer consultation and support to families, empowering them to reinforce strategies at home
