Speech Language Pathologist in Rome, GA

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcomed
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or relevant clinical experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student needs and grade levels (K-12)
- Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students, adjusting as necessary to meet varied developmental stages
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Provide input in multidisciplinary meetings, supporting students’ academic success
- Mentor and collaborate with other SLPs and school professionals
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment
