Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid ASHA CCC or eligible for CFY supervision
- Previous experience with school-aged children (K-12th grade) preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and work both independently and collaboratively
What You’ll Do:
- Assess and evaluate K–12 students for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver therapy and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Communicate progress and collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide backfill support for OT as needed
- Keep accurate and timely records per state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans
