Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
  • Certification required in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
  • Thorough understanding of the educational IEP process
  • Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment in both individual and group sessions
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Provide education and strategies to stakeholders to enhance generalization of communication skills
