Speech Language Pathologist in Rockland, ME

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in K-12 school settings is highly preferred
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, writing reports, developing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Complete formal assessments, document findings, and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings with staff and families
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
