A temporary full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage in a K-12 school setting in Harvard, Illinois. This contract assignment runs from January 6 through April 1 and offers the chance to support an established program within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to the needs of students
- Conduct assessments and assist in developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation including progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
- Preferred experience working in a school-based setting with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
This position offers a Monday through Friday full-time schedule and the opportunity to engage with a dedicated team focused on student success. Comprehensive program support will be provided to ensure a smooth transition during the maternity leave coverage.
