Speech-Language Pathologist in Whitakers, NC

Ideal candidates possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with preference given to those who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. You must also hold a G License issued by the NC Department of Public Instruction; licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may also apply.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students with a range of communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), with regular monitoring and adjustment as needed
- Providing direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Advising educators and family members on speech and language development and strategies for effective communication
- Documenting progress, maintaining detailed session notes, and preparing reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participating in team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff, and offering planning and oversight for caseload management
