Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Rincon, New Mexico

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Prior pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for helping children develop communication and language abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Conduct screenings and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and family members for comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input regarding student goals and progress
