Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs and district guidelines
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and measurable goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff collaboration sessions
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and other staff regarding communication strategies
- Adapt and modify therapy techniques to suit diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds
This is a full-time, on-site contract role spanning the entire school year. You'll have the chance to impact student development, work alongside dedicated educators, and gain valuable experience in an engaging school-based environment.
