Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students identified with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with the Committee on Special Education (CSE) team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and adjust therapy plans based on data and observations.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment promoting student engagement and confidence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working within a school setting, preferably with elementary-age students.
- Knowledge of special education regulations and CSE processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Elementary school services based in Richfield Springs, NY.
- School hours: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
- 32.5 hours per week.
- Contract-to-hire arrangement, allowing for potential long-term employment.
