Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to support students with developmental disabilities in a full-time, onsite role located in Kent, WA. This contract position focuses on enhancing classroom participation by collaborating closely with the IEP team to meet individualized student goals. Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication disorders to develop effective intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language support to students with developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with IEP team members to design and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate services and ensure alignment with educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Washington.
  • Credentialed as either CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or a CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidate.
  • Possession of ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification.
  • Experience working with school-aged children and familiarity with IEP processes preferred.

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position based in Kent, WA.
  • Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Serve one school with a focused caseload.
