What you’ll bring:
- Valid California SLP credential with PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) authorization
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and/or substantial pediatric and school-based experience
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning abilities for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to support multiple schools (final assignment to be determined)
- Passion for working with diverse student populations and collaborating with faculty and families
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students ages and caseload to be determined
- Conducting assessments and documenting progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborating with educators and parents to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom
- Maintaining thorough and timely records of student performance and therapy sessions
- Engaging in training opportunities as provided
