Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and provide targeted therapy
- Capacity to manage a dynamic caseload and work collaboratively with educational teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students in grades K through 12
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy for a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Assist in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans
- Provide consultation and training for faculty and caregivers as needed
- Adapt intervention methods based on student progress and evolving needs
