Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and families
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, addressing a variety of speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations, recommendations, and collaborative planning
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families to foster student success
This contract assignment will start at the beginning of the new school year (NSY) and conclude at the end of the school year (EOSY). The role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week across five days, providing consistent work and meaningful engagement with the student community. Compensation for this position ranges from $50 to $70 per hour, distributed through weekly pay.
