This opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a positive impact in education. You’ll engage directly with a diverse and manageable caseload, offering dedicated services to approximately 40 students through the end of February. With onsite-only responsibilities, you become an essential part of the multidisciplinary team, helping teachers and staff enhance student learning experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP licensure (or willingness to obtain).
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate or ability to secure one.
- Up-to-date fingerprint clearance through OSPI (or ready to complete this requirement).
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred.
- Experience in school-based SLP settings and a passion for supporting elementary-aged students.
- Commitment to onsite-only service delivery.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students, ensuring all services align with IEP goals and district guidelines.
- Work on a school site that also houses the behavior program, collaborating closely with specialists to address a wide range of needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for student progress and compliance.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help shape communication supports within the school community.
- Foster positive, productive relationships with staff, students, and families.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly compensation, between $90-100.
- Consistent schedule: 32.5 hours per week, September 2, 2026, through February 15, 2027.
